During November 18th – 19th a team of veterinary surgeons from our association participated to a supervision tour at Giribawa MOH area in order to find out the dogs suffering from Distemper Viral Disease and to provide treatments to those diseased animals. They also conducted education programs to the community about the disease / prevention / treatments.

During that tour, apart from treating the diseased dogs they did a post evaluation of the Dog Sterilization Program conducted during August 2009 which successfully covered about 80% percent of the total dog population.
